Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Hookscore ("the Service"), an automated tool that analyzes a web page you submit and returns a conversion-focused report. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

You submit a public URL and a goal. We open the page in an automated browser, read its public content, capture screenshots, and safely inspect its links and buttons in a read-only manner. An AI model then produces scores, a written critique, and suggested copy rewrites.

2. Your responsibility for submitted URLs

You represent that any URL you submit is a publicly accessible page and that you have the right to have it analyzed. Do not submit pages behind a login, paywall, or that you are not authorized to access. You are solely responsible for your use of the reports, including any changes you make to your own site based on them.

3. No guarantee of accuracy

The Service is automated and uses AI, which can be wrong. Scores, critiques, and rewrites are opinions generated by software, not professional marketing, legal, or business advice. You must review every suggestion before applying it. We do not warrant any particular result, conversion lift, or revenue outcome.

4. Payment and refunds

A full report is a one-time purchase of $7 per report, processed by our payment provider (Stripe). There is no subscription. Because a report is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable; if a report failed to generate or you were charged in error, contact us and we will make it right.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit URLs you are not authorized to analyze; use the Service to attack, overload, or scrape third-party sites at scale; attempt to bypass rate limits or security controls; or resell the raw Service as your own without permission. We may rate-limit, suspend, or refuse service to prevent abuse.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its report format are ours. The report content generated about your page is yours to use. You grant us permission to process the submitted page and to use de-identified, aggregated data to improve the Service.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the Service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
